Opening your doors to film and photography shoots can be a really exciting experience. As a location, your Property becomes the backdrop for filmmakers, photographers and their teams to capture their creative vision, and not to mention, is a great way of earning some additional income!

As your agent, our small and enthusiastic team at Outer Space, will handle all enquiries that come through for your location. We'll talk you through the details of the shoot, to ensure it's something you'd be happy to host in your space. Enquiries are often fast-paced and can expect a quick turnaround, so it's vital that we have up to date contact details for you, so we can feedback your availability to the Client as soon as possible. This can make all the difference in securing a shoot quickly.

To help decide whether your Property is suitable for their shoot, it's likely that production teams will want to come by for a recce (viewing) of your location, and once confirmed, they may want to organise a second 'technical' recce. On the shoot day, it's important that your Property is presented in the same condition as the photos on our library, and you will need to be home in the morning to welcome the crew and to answer any questions (kitchen facilities, use of toilet, wifi, etc.) You're welcome to stay in your home during the shoot, and should be present to walk around the Property with the production team to check for any damages at the end of the day.

Crew sizes will vary from shoot to shoot, with smaller editorials needing around 5 people, and feature films requiring up to 50 + people on site. It's very likely that they'll want to move existing furniture, dress the space with their own props and bring in their kit. However, it is the Client's responsibility to leave the house in the same condition in which it was found. You can expect a number of vehicles to arrive at your Property in the morning, dropping off equipment for the shoot, and ideally these would have space to park nearby.
